NYT THISTED MUSEUM
The lighting for Kilen seeks to support Kilen as the central link between the museum's 3 buildings.
In addition, the lighting must ensure that the full length of the Kilen is emphasized and positioned as the museum's new face to the city.
It is also important for Kilen's interaction with the existing architecture that it appears light and floating for lighting purposes. The Kilen's lighting is intended to subtly emphasize the architecture and create lighting with a few simple touches, which places materiality and the wedge's very special spatiality at the top of the hierarchy.
